BU University Challenge applications…

This legendary quiz, currently airing on BBC2, pits two teams of four students from UK universities against each other in a battle of general knowledge. Each winning team progresses to the next round, until an overall series winner emerges.

We are inviting all students to see if they have what it takes to be a member of the BU team by first completing a tryout quiz. This is the first stage in a selection process that will lead to a BU team being chosen by December 2025.

We are ultimately looking for 5 people (4 players and a reserve), one of whom will be the team captain who will be responsible for coordinating all the relevant information from the team, supported by SUBU and academic staff.

The competition is open to those on undergraduate, postgraduate, research degrees and other programmes of study that lead to a qualification from BU.

If you have superb general knowledge, would like to represent BU and would like to appear on TV, the first step is to complete this form which asks for your details (so that we can contact you) and then asks you to answer 20 questions where you will need to type in an answer. Based on your results, we will be in touch about the next steps in this process.
